This toy car was carefully hand crafted by Mortonite, Gene Strunk, former shop-teacher at Morton High School.  It is made of multiple types of wood…the body of the car is made of the lighter colored Ash; the roof and runners are made of Oak;  the radiator is made of Cherry; and the trunk is made of Pine.  The wheels are also wooden, and they spin for realistic action.
